Last week I posted about a Stranger Things tapestry I created and uploaded to my Redbubble account.
After double checking to make sure the size of the file was correct, I ordered the smallest tapestry size because it fits our wall best. It didn’t take too long to be delivered, but we were on the edge of our seats waiting to see how it’d come out.
The night we received it, we contemplated ways to hang it. I thought it would come with grommets in the corners, but they didn’t. So I put grommets on the top two corners.
Because we can’t make holes in the walls, we’ve been pretty dedicated to command strips and hooks for everything we hang in this apartment. Unfortunately the grommets I own weren’t large enough to fit into the command hooks. I didn’t want to buy other grommets since these are what I have on hand, so we got some wire to loop through the grommets and hang on the hooks. A little ghetto, but we got it to work.
Because we’re not pros, it’s slightly crooked, but it works and fits perfectly over our couch. This living room is becoming more homey by the second and it makes me excited to continue revamping some other items in this apartment. Baby steps!
