So, were you curious to know what I had planned for these paper mache canvas t-shirts I made last month?
I’ll show you what I’ve been working on!
Took a little less than a week for the paper mache to dry. After they were completely dried, I decoupaged all of the outsides with scraps of paper because the paper mache dries a little crumbly and it’s delicate. (The first image shows my process.)
After the glue dried, I painted them whatever way I wanted to with acrylic paint. I was super inspired by 1980s memphis design, and made them all different using pastel-ish colors and fun shapes. So all of them are unique for sure.
To make them ready to hang, I poked holes at the top and molded the wire to make them look like little hangers.
Not all of them are finished and painted, but I posted what I have all done in my Storenvy shop.
They’re tiny, fun, and completely handmade from start to finish!
Check them out if you can!
