Hi. Hello! How are you all? Welcome back to another installment of Tarot-To-Go! It’s been awhile since I’ve bombarded your eyeballs with cards and tried to decode our future in an attempt to navigate this crazy thing called life as a human being. What a crazy whirlwind it’s been since our last update — how’s everyone hanging in? A bit frazzled? Yeah, I thought that might be the case…

Since the world’s a bit upside down right now, Maria and I thought April 1st would be the perfect time to snap back into the swing of it here on Oddball Era. With the both of us locked down in quarantine, we’ve got a lot of time on our hands to sit around and worry. I bet you can relate. To channel that energy into more positive ventures, I’ve decided to try and dedicate this period to growing my magical practice, especially my tarot skills. Plus, I think we can all use a little clarity right about now!

Probably the most used buzzword associated with Libra is BALANCE. After all, this sign is illustrated by those old fashioned scales. Welcome back to another installment of Tarot To-Go on Oddball Era! This week, we’re taking a look at the Fall Equinox.

Scientifically speaking, it’s “the instant of time when the plane of Earth’s equator passes through the center of the Sun.” In more basic terms, it’s when the daylight and darkness are roughly equal as we slide from Summer into Fall in the Northern Hemisphere and from Winter into Spring in the Southern.

Tarot To-Go // Major Arcana Spotlight #1 – The Sun

This week on Tarot To-Go we’re starting with our deep dive into the Major Arcana. What exactly is that, though? In short, they’re the twenty-two archetype cards in a traditional tarot deck. Each one is numbered from zero to twenty-one and features a portrait to explain the various stages of humanity that most of us will embody at some point in our lives.

At the end of my Full Year Birthday Reading, I pulled a Major Arcanum to represent the overall theme for the next year of my life as I make my way towards my 30th birthday next August. What card did I get? Let’s take a look.

Last week, in honor of my 29th birthday, I showed you the first four months of my Full Year Tarot Spread — that’s where I pull a card for every month of the upcoming year, plus an extra one for the overall theme.
