We’ve got a lot of inner work to do if we’re going to be ready for the New Moon this week.
Monday provides us the right kind of energy to face our own SHADOW. What are our dark aspects and light aspects? How do some of your less-than-reputable qualities balance out with your great ones? What can we learn from our shadows and reflections of ourselves (and others)?
The New Moon in Sagittarius on Tuesday points the arrow straight to our hearts! The Archer is about truth, learning, and travel. It’s a good day to create new MEMORIES OF LOVE. What activities or people get your heart pumping? Make that a priority on Tuesday and this is sure to be a fantastic moon for you.
The Devil comes out to play on Wednesday. Yes, it’s Hump Day and you really did work quite hard for the first half of the week. Still, this card reminds us that to fall to TEMPTATION is oftentimes to keep the success we reach for out of our hands. Wanting to splurge or overindulge? Will doing so push you back on another goal? Think it through.
Thursday brings up another recurring card, DISCONTENT & BOREDOM. We are ready for the weekend to start. Maybe you’ve got big plans you can’t wait to get to? Remember to be in the moment. Don’t miss what is now because you’re dreaming of what’s to come.
Again, we need some SOLITUDE on Friday. Seek to replenish your energy reserves with solitary activities that bring you joy or expand your knowledge and growth. The Shadow Phase for Mercury’s December 19th retrograde starts today, so get ready for some shifting planetary vibes around communication and technology or travel and logistics.
The FERTILITY we see here on Saturday can be literal but it can also be from a figurative stand point — perhaps you are pregnant with an idea that needs to be unleashed unto the planet? Use the energy to breathe life into something that has up until this point been all talk.
Sunday calls for HEARTACHE & LOSS. It’s a card about self, really. The letting go and cutting ties of the past. In the picture, you can see a sort of prison surrounding a sullen woman while behind her through a window is clear, blue skies. So often we are imprisoned by our perspective. Cut those ties! This card ties in nicely for the movements of Neptune, too, while we’re at it. Neptune has a fourteen year cycle and when it changes tides — like it is now — we often see a changing-of-the-guards on a generational scale. In order for us to move into the next wave, we must let go of all that tethers us ashore. Ride it or drown — the choice is ours.
Phew! What a week! I suggest we all rest up whenever we can. Personally? I think I might need to wet my fins in a hot chakra balancing bath a few nights!
