Last year, I posted about rain gear I design for some small shops. After the stores punched numbers and calculated customer reports, they approached us for new rain designs because the rain collection had positive selling.
It was reassuring and exciting to hear, but it was slightly nerve-wracking to come up with designs even better than the first round. Just as last year, we had to create new rain boots, rain jackets, and umbrellas – all matching to each other.
I came up with a bunch of designs, we condensed and found the top four they wanted to go forth with. Two boys and two girls is what they settled on again.
They chose a mermaid and cupcake design for girls, and dinosaur and sharks for boys.
We received some reports and we were told my mermaid and dinosaur designs seem to be selling super well. As we’ve gotten more positive feedback, we’re currently working on new designs, so maybe this time next year I’ll be sharing round 3!
