Sounds kinda full of myself to assume that I know what it’s like to be a mermaid. BUT if I wanted to live the mermaid life, I would be all about things that revolve around scales, glitter, gold, pastel, and elegance. Keeping that in mind, I compiled a list of things that I felt represent mermaids and captures the elegant feeling we all think of when we think of these classy sea gals.
So if you want to live the modern mermaid life, here are materialistic things for you to consider having!

03. Really Mermaid Leggings – Forget the typical scaled leggings. Society6 has super comfy leggings and this print has sparkles of gold and sophisticated hues of turquoise. I prefer it over the typical metallic scaled leggings you can find everywhere.
04. Shell Compact Mirror – There are a few color variations of this mirror, but either it’s perfectly compact and cute!
05. Mermaid Tail Blanket – This blanket has been popping up everywhere as of late, and you can even find all sorts of versions all over Etsy. This blanket looks super cozy and everything you need to chill with style.
06. Hair Comb – Subtle hair accessories make long mermaid hair sparkle. This hair comb has that bit of pizazz that makes you stand out from the rest.
07. Dry Shampoo – They say you shouldn’t wash your hair everyday, but when you need to feel that clean feeling, dry shampoo is here to save the day. I’ve tried quite a bit of dry shampoo and I found Captain Blankenship works to defeat the greasy feeling, especially on black hair.
08. Seashell Trinket Box – Where else to store little goodies other than a shell trinket box? I can’t think of a more appropriate place if you want to be a mermaid.
